We're off to Madagascar for a month, birding mainly, but also, of course, looking for all the amazing animals and plants. David Bishop, who took us to Thailand, Papua New Guinea, and Bhutan, will be leading Bob and me, along with David and Nancy, Scottish vets who also joined us in Bhutan.

As you can see from the map below, we have a complex itinerary, flying around the island (dashed lines) with some driving (solid lines). The main airport is in the capital, Antananarivo, called Tana by most. Air Madagascar is notoriously unreliable, due to their small fleet, so we'll have to be flexible, but this is the plan:
